Pakistan reached the top spot in latest ICC T20 Ranking
after India beat New Zealand by 53 runs in first T20.
Pakistan rise to top spot in ICC T20 Team Ranking
Pakistani fans would hope India to beat New Zealand 2-1
margin to confirm they stay at top of T20 ranking. India being the biggest
rival of Pakistan, helped Green team to climb up the ladder.
Kiwi’s defeat at the hands of India brought them down to 121
– three points below Pakistan & Green Team now tops the ranking with 124 points.
For the first time in T20 history, Pakistan has found the
top place in ICC T20 team rankings.
After Sarfraz took over T20 captaincy from Shahid Afridi,
Pakistan rose from number 8 to number 1 in T20 cricket. Sarfraz won 12 out of
14 matches he played as a captain & Pakistan whitewashed West Indies &
Sri Lanka.
Pakistan is number 1 Rank T20 Team
Pakistan was just a few points behind New Zealand & Green
Shirts were at number 2 after they sweep Sri Lanka 3-0 in shortest format of
cricket.
India’s victory against Kiwi saw New Zealand’s losing 3
points which confirmed Pakistan as top ranked T20 team.
