Ali & Finn got injuries during practice (Ashes)

Moeen Ali & Steven Finn will not be selected in two warm up matches:

Moeen Ali & Steven Finn will not be available in two warm up matches before the Ashes 2017-18 series.

Steven Finn & Moeen Ali got injuries during practice session

Moeen’s left side & Finn’s left knee is injured & it is confirmed that they have ruled out for either the 2 day warm up match or next week’s 4 day match. They will play only one warm up match if they recover before the 4 day game in Townsville beginning on 15 November.

Finn seems to have serious injury as compared to Ali. Moeen is a prominent all rounder in the team & he will be rested & not risked until the match in Townsville.

Finn will be watched by the medical staff over the next week as his injury is more serious. His recovery date is not mentioned but the scan results are better than expected.

Finn got a chance in the team as he was not chosen during the previous Ashes tour four years ago. He worked hard & performed to get a place in the squad.
