Pakistan
are aiming to fight back in ODI Series after Sri Lanka sweep Pakistan 2-0 in
Test Series. The young Pakistan team defeated Sri Lanka in Champions Trophy group
match under Sarfraz who made not out 61 for his team.

The
first ODI match b/w Pakistan & Sri Lanka will be played today at 11:00 am GMT.
Team
Pakistan are hopeful to play better cricket this time.
They need to change their fortune with hard work & take revenge in ODI
format.
Pakistan
won the ICC Champions Trophy & this is Pakistan first ODI match after the
historical win.
Pakistan
will play with a different side in ODIs & only four players including
Sarfraz, Haris, Babar & Hasan are included in team that also played the
Test Series against Sri Lanka. Opener Shahzad & all-rounder Hafeez are
amongst the 11 players who are in the ODI squad.
The
Pakistan ODI captain Sarfraz is under pressure after losing his first Test
Series. For the first time in 9 years, Pakistan lost a Test series in UAE.
Earlier
Sri Lanka team was attacked in 2009 in Lahore & Pakistan had to play their
home Series on a neutral venue. Pakistan had a terrific Test record in UAE as
they won 5 out of 9 Test Series they played & drew 4 before Sri Lanka broke
Pakistan winning streak.
Sri
Lanka was defeated by Zimbabwe at their home in ODI Series & then India
sweep Sri Lanka 9-0 in Test, ODI & T20 & it appeared to be the worst
year for Sri Lanka before beating Pakistan in Test series.
Sarfraz
is under pressure but still he is hopeful to perform better in limited over
format, he said, "Obviously, when you have a first Test series as captain,
and you lose it, pressure will be there,"
"But
we will try and get out of that. Our one-day team is balanced and our record is
very good. We will have some senior players returning and I hope we´ll play
better cricket."
