Zimbabwe vs West Indies Test Series 2017 Fixture - Schedule:
West
Indies will tour Zimbabwe for two Test matches in October. Zimbabwe will play
their first Test after they visited Sri Lanka in July.
West Indies tour of Zimbabwe Test Series Fixture
The
first Test match between Zimbabwe & West Indies will begin on 21 October &
the second Test will start on 29 October. A three day warm up match prior to the
first Test is scheduled on 15 October.
Taylor
& Kyle can make a return to the team during Test series. Both players left
Zimbabwe to play in England on Kolpak deals. They were convinced to opt out of
their England deals early & now they are expected to make a comeback in the
Zimbabwe team.
Zimbabwe
needs the pair as they will start preparing for 2019 World Cup qualifiers &
without them it would be very difficult for them to get a place in World Cup.
The qualifiers matches will start in March 2018. West Indies will also play the
World Cup qualifier matches as they failed to qualify automatically. Zimbabwe
will face West Indies in that tournament.
This
is Windies 2nd tour of Zimbabwe in last twelve months.
