Young Pakistan team will face World XI stars in T20 series final tonight at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Pakistan vs World XI series is leveled 1-1 & tonight’s match will decide the series winner.

Pakistan beat World XI in first T20 on 12 September by 20 runs. World XI took revenge in second T20 & they won by 7 wickets. Now the series final T20 will be played tonight. The winners of tonight’s match will lift the Independence Cup trophy.

World XI team tour Pakistan to play three T20s in Lahore. Independence Cup is the initial step towards return of international cricket in Pakistan. The World XI includes stars from seven different countries.

Pakistan will face some of the hard challengers that are picked up from top cricket teams. On the other side, the World XI will be eager to defeat the winners of ICC Champions Trophy.

The skipper of Pakistan, Sarfraz Ahmed is keen to win this match. He said, "It is a very important match for us and we will be going all out to win the match as the series is leveled at 1-1 and the match has become equally important for the both sides to claim the series title,".

He added that the consistent performance will be required to win the series decider T20.

"I have urged the fellow colleague to give their one hundred per cent and should not repeat the errors which they committed in the second match,".

Sarfraz told that his side has to raise their levels, a part from fielding well in the last T20; he called upon Pakistan pace bowlers to bowl with accuracy.

"Beating the World XI is a tough task, but we are in the right mindset to achieve this objective the way we did in the opening match of the series," he added.

World XI skipper Faf du Plessis told that his side will play the last t20 with the same mindset it adopted during the 2nd match.

"It is not going to be easy at all for us as Pakistan team has the added advantage of home ground and crowd and it also has the ability to fight back due to some good players in the side and we have to overcome all these challenges for a winning way," Faf du Plessis said.

World XI skipper said that the players are from different countries & they needed time to become a team & he added that the team will perform well in the last T20 of Independence Cup.

He replied to a question & told that so far they have been enjoying playing cricket in Lahore & they are very excited to be in Pakisatan.

"Pakistani people are very caring and loving and we received big encouragement and support from them in the two matches and we look forward to a similar gesture from them in the last match as well," World XI captain added.
