Zealand’s cricketer Grant Elliot, part of World XI squad on Pakistan tour told
that the security of Pakistan is amazing & the stadiums are safe for
playing International cricket.
“My
experience here has been great so far. The security is amazing. All of us
[players] feel secure,” he told Geo News.

“It’s
the only [cricket-playing] country I hadn’t been to, but now I can say I’ve
played cricket in Pakistan,” he added.
World XI received support from Pakistani fans at the Stadium
He likes
the hospitality of Pakistan during his stay in Lahore. He also got support from
Lahori crowds at Gaddafi Stadium.
“It
is great. The hospitality, the support from the crowds at the ground. It’s nice
to be here.”
Grant
Elliott is hopeful that once again Pakistan will host international teams &
World XI tour is the first step towards return of international cricket in
Pakistan.
“If
security plans stay as good as this, other teams will also come here.
Hopefully, Pakistan will play Test cricket at home again. It will be good for
the children to see their heroes play,” Grant Elliott added.
