Pakistan beat World XI in third T20 of Independence Cup & won the three match T20 Series 2-1:
Ahmed Shehzad's 89 off 55 balls helped Pakistan won the third
T20 by 33 runs. Pakistan beat World XI 2-1 in Independence Cup.
Pakistan left a target of 184 runs to the World XI. World XI
in reply only managed to score 150-8 in 20 overs.

Second inning:
In second inning World XI opening pair Amla & Tamim could not make a big opening stand this time as Usman Khan removed Tamim Iqbal for 14.Two back to back wickets as Cutting & Amla departed in a single over, Hasan Ali provided the breakthrough in a crucial stage of the third T20 match.
Australia George Bailey only managed to score 3 off 12 balls
before he was dismissed by Imad Wasim.
Shadab Khan grabbed the ball & hit it straight to wicket & captain
Faf du Plessis had to go to pavilion on 13.
Rumman Raees provided the breakthrough as Perera played a
lose shot & the catch was cleanly taken by Babar Azam.
Perera’s took the game away from the hosts & his 32 runs
inning include 3 sixes & 2 fours.
Miller gave away his wicket after scoring 32 in 29 balls in
Hasan Ali’s bowling.
Babar Azam's direct hit ruined Morkel's short inning & he departed for scoring just 1.

First inning:
Shehzad hit sixes galore before he left the ground. He hit three sixes in a row in death overs of Pakistan’s innings
Ahmed Shehzad's 89 off 55 balls fired Pakistan to 183-4 in 20 overs
Shoaib Malik played a 7 balls not out innings & he
offered his team 17 much needed runs. Imad Wasim was removed for a duck.
Pakistan were fifty up in just 6 overs & credit goes to
risk shots played by Fakhar & responsible innings from Ahmed.
Babar Azam got another opportunity after he was dropped by
Tahir on Perera’s delivery.
World XI won the toss & chose to field first against
Pakistan in the final T20 of Independence Cup. Hasan Ali is in the squad in
place of Sohail Khan. Sohail was really expensive in the second T20 match,
World XI batsman Perera conceded 20 runs in Sohail's second last over & they beat Pakistan in the final over by 7 wickets.
Pakistani fans reached
the Gaddafi stadium from all over the city for last T20 match.
