Yasir Jan to bowl against England batsmen in preparation for the third Test against West Indies:

England batsmen will face Pakistan pace bowler Yasir Jan in preparation for the third Test match against West Indies.

21 year old pace bowler Yasir Jan, who was once a vegetable vendor, was spotted during the first edition of the Lahore Qalandars’ Rising Stars program in 2016. To give this young man experience, PSL franchise sent him to UK for a six week training program at the MCC.

Yasir Jan is set to gain exposure of bowling against best international batsmen when he joins the nets with the England and West Indies squads next week.

A report said, "Pakistan quick Yasir Jan, who has been training with the MCC Young Cricketers and playing for Watford Town this summer, will bowl against England and West Indies during the two days leading into the third Test".

Yasir Jan can bowl with both arms at almost the same pace. He can bowl at 145 kmph using his right arm while he can bowl at a slightly lower pace with his left arm.

He is likely to play for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2018. Experts also think Yasir Jan has the skill to represent Pakistan at international level.

CEO of Lahore Qalandars Atif Rana said that Yasir is a raw talent & we need to provide a platform for his exposure.

CEO of Lahore Qalandars said, "Not every individual with raw talent is discovered, and even less so, encouraged. We want to ensure Yasir has every opportunity to develop as a cricketer and hone his unique talent,” Rana said.

Rana added, “Yasir is a special talent, the only ambidextrous fast bowler of Pakistan. His development is extremely important to both us as well as for Pakistan cricket.
