After
outstanding performance in PSL & CPL, 18 year old leg spinner Shadab Khan has
signed with the Brisbane Heat for the 7th season of the Big Bash
League.

Shadab
is in place of Samuel Badree who took fourteen wickets in just thirteen matches
at an economy of 6.42, b/w 2015 & 2017 for Brisbane Heat.
Shadab
has had a successful year in which he also contributed in winning the ICC
Champions Trophy for Pakistan. Shadab made his T20 debut against West Indies this
year. He took 3-7 in 4 overs in his debut match & received Man of the Match
award. In the next match, he shines with 4 for 14 & helped Pakistan defend
a low total. In the 4 match T20 series against West Indies, Shadab picked up 10
wickets for 75 runs & received the man of the series award.
Shadab
played 6 matches in Caribbean Premier League & he finished with 10 wickets
at an economy rate of 6.08.
Brisbane
Heat coach Daniel Vettori said of Shadab, "He is one of the most dynamic
young spinners in the game and will fit nicely into the style of play that we
want to employ this summer,"

added, "I know Brendon has been highly impressed with him as a team-mate
in the CPL and we're looking forward to working with him when he arrives."
Shadab
Khan is Brisbane Heat’s twelfth confirmed signing & there are 6 places
still open for the other players.

Vettori further said that Shadab’s recruitement meant that the Brisbane Heat
would not contract West Indies Samuel Badree for the upcoming campaign.
The
BBL season begins on 19 December 2017.
