England vs South Africa Test Series Analysis:
South
Africa can comeback & win the final Test to level series with England. They
are on the brink of losing the Test series. Also newly elected captain Joe Root
has the chance to win the Test series against South Africa at home after 19
years. If England managed to beat South Africa at home, they will accomplish a
big milestone to beat a rival that has the best record of beating team away.
South Africa did not perform well recently in ICC Champions Trophy while
England were defeated by Pakistan in the Champions Trophy semi finals.
It
is indeed tough to decide what will happen in the last Test match beginning
today but so far England have dominated the Test series. South Africa have once
fought back in this series at Trent Bridge after they lost the first Test
match. England need to show better cricket than South Africa otherwise the
visitors will definitely be prepared for a do & die match.
England vs South Africa Test Series 2017 Analysis
South
Africa beat England at Trent Bridge but Rabada did not play in that match as he
was suspended & then Philander got sick in the third Test. If these two
bowlers along with unstoppable Morkel can crush England batsmen then Proteas
can defend the Test series.
South
Africa batting was worse than ever in the Test series. Dean Elgar big century
at The Oval was the Proteas second ton in last 6 Tests & both of them are
scored by Elgar. Also one other big problem is de Kock not playing big innings
when he was moved to number 4.
Philander
will only play the last Test match on Friday if he is fully fit for the game.
If he can play today then South Africa can also play an extra batsman in place
of Morris. Also Philander may not be fully fit for the match & he may only
bowl limited overs then South Africa will need Morris in fourth Test match.
