Sarfraz Ahmed looks forward to World XI T20 Tour

Safraz Ahmed looks forward to T20 matches during World XI tour to Pakistan:

Pakistan cricket team skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has said he is looking forward to playing in Lahore against the World XI team in September.

He told that the World XI team will bring new laurels to the country & will help the PCB host more matches in the near future.

"I am confident that through this tour of World XI, the global cricket community, including players, media and visitors will get a better understanding and perception of Pakistan, which is a peace-loving and extremely hospitable nation that loves its cricket," Sarfraz added.

Sarfraz further told that "I am really excited to see the World XI team coming to Pakistan and keenly look forward to playing in front of our committed crowd of supporters,".

He added that the Pakistan cricket heroes have missed playing in home stadiums filled with Pakistani crowd & the World XI visit to Pakistan promises a better time for the players & fans.

He also said that the players have missed the opportunity of playing in front of home crowd.

Pakistani skipper who recently led the Pakistan cricket team to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 further told that "This wait is about to end and I am sure better times lie ahead of all of us,".

The World XI squad led by Faf du Plessis has been announced for the upcoming visit to Pakistan to play three T20 matches at the Gaddafi stadium Lahore.

World XI squad: Faf du Plessis (capt, SA), Hashim Amla (SA), Samuel Badree (WI), George Bailey (Aus), Paul Collingwood (E), Ben Cutting (Aus), Grant Elliott (NZ), Tamim Iqbal (Ban), David Miller (SA), Morne Morkel (SA), Tim Paine (Aus), Thisara Perera (SL), Imran Tahir (SA), Darren Sammy (WI).

PCB will soon announce the squad for the upcoming T20 matches against the World XI.

We are hopeful to watch our heroes playing in front of our eyes soon. This is a big step towards return of cricket in Pakistan & Pakistani cricket heroes & fans are very excited as they expressed their feelings on twitter.
