England vs West Indies Test Series: Moeen Ali is confident to use pink ball
The first Test match of England
vs West Indies will begin on Thursday & for the first time England team will
play in floodlights.
Pink ball is needed in floodlight
Test as the cricketers’ typical clothing makes it difficult to differentiate between
white ball. The pink ball usually affects the bowlers as they find it difficult
to play with.
As far as bowling with pink ball
is concerned Moeen who became the first bowler to take 25 wickets in a four match
Test series said it is not difficult to handle the pink ball. The ball is not
slippery & the seam is fine. It spun more due to the hard seam.
The dew factor could make the
ball slippery but it is just the same as the red ball & more visible than
the ordinary red ball used in Tests in floodlights.
People say that the pink ball does
not turn that much as comparable to red ball but Ali is happy to bowl using
pink ball.
Well there are rumors everywhere,
few people are criticizing the pink ball but Ali is confident that he will be
fine to use it. These are just rumors & it is just a psychological test to
use the pink ball & not anything more than that.
Moeen Ali was earlier criticized for
not been a genuine bowler but he has surprised everyone with his outstanding
bowling against South Africa. He is becoming the genuine all-rounder like
Kallis & he is proving that he can be equally good with bat & ball.
