Australia look dominant against Bangladesh in first Test match:

At stumps day 3, Australia were 109-2 after Bangladesh set a target of 265.

Warner scored 75 not out after Lyon’s outstanding bowling 6-82 that helped the visitors restrict Bangladesh to 221 in their second innings.

Australia need 156 runs to win on a pitch that is slow, turning & bouncy that create all sorts of problems for the batsmen. Smith scored 25 not out accompanying David at the crease overnight.

Bangladesh set a winning target of 265 after opener Tamim Iqbal top scored with 78, his second fifty of the match.

Bangladesh batsmen aimed for a big total in the second innings but Nathan Lyon dismissed six players to restrict the opponents to 221 all out.

Nathan knew that the pitch is dangerous for the batsmen & he took the advantage of turning track, restricting the Bangladesh to 205-8 by tea.

Australia earlier made 217 runs in their first innings in reply to hosts’ 260.

Tamim Iqbal was good with the bat & he led his side in a difficult situation but he was removed by fast bowler Cummins that triggered a Bangladesh collapse.

Bangladesh are ranked number ninth in ICC Test team ranking & they are hoping to climb up after winning this match. Australia are placed fourth in the ranking & they have not won a Test series in the subcontinent since 2011. This series is crucial for both teams & they both are trying their best.

At stumps day 3, Australia look dominant in this match. Earlier Shakib Al Hassan outstanding bowling in the first innings helped his team to be on the top as Australia fell short of Bangladesh first innings total of 260 & Bangladesh took a lead of 43.
