NCA Talent Hunt - Young Bowlers:
National Cricket Academy of Pakistan is organizing a talent hunt program in remote areas of Pakistan. Idea of talent hunt is to find talented young bowlers through out Pakistan. Talent Hunt 2016 is search of young fast and spin bowlers in remote area where players don't have access to cricket facilities and don't get enough opportunities to prove themselves worthy enough to play in domestic cricket. This program is only for young talented bowlers (fast and spin) and will be conducted at various locations through out Pakistan.Requirements for Participation:
If you are young and talented bowler (fast or spin) then take benefit of this opportunity and participate in this program. This program might change future of some of young talent in Pakistan so make sure you are at the venue on specified dates. Interested players must be between 17 to 21 years of age and must have B-Form or an ID card to register for the trials. Over all 30 players would be shortlisted from these trails and enrolled to a two weeks skill development camp in Multan.

NCA - Talent Hunt Program Venues:
Pakistan Cricket Board is always keen to conduct various programs to promote cricket game through out the country. This program is purely based on unveiling hidden youth talent in Pakistan. Talent Hunt program 2016 organized by National Cricket Academy will be conducted in Baluchistan, Interior Sindh, AJK and Peshawar. Please refer below for a detail list of venues, date of trials, area to be covered and selection panel.
Venue 1: Bugti Stadium, Quetta.
Date: 26th and 27th of October 2016.
Area: Baluchistan.
Venue 2: PCB Cricket Ground, Sukkur.
Date: 2nd and 3rd of November 2016.
Area: Interior Sindh.
Venue 3: Mirpur Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
Date: 6th and 7th of November 2016.
Area: AJK (Azad Jammu and Kashmir)
Venue 4: Narul Cricket Ground, Muzzafarabad.
Date: 6th and 7th of November 2016.
Area: AJK (Azad Jammu and Kashmir)
Venue 5: Islamia Cricket Academy, Peshawar.
Date: 10th and 11th of November 2016.
Area: Peshawar and FATA (Federal Administered Tribal Area)
Selection Panel and Judges:
Pakistan former cricketer and experience coaches will participate in talent hunt program. Mudassar Nazar, Mushtaq Ahmed, Ijaz Ahmed and Ali Zia will conduct these trials. For further support and filtering of players based on talent, NCA Elite Panel Coaches and Regional Coaches will participate as well in this program. Selection panel listed above will be present at each venue and will shortlist candidates/players. They will further filter talented young players to select overall 30 from all the remote areas. Lucky 30 participants will go to a Skill Development Camp at Multan HPC in December 2016 for 2 weeks training and fitness test.
All young talented bowlers should take advantage of this opportunity. This could change your life. Such opportunities rarely come, if you think you do have some skills then go for it. Sometimes you might not see any talent in yourself but selection panel might see something special in you. So, take a day off college/work and take your B-Form/ID card and be at the venue on proposed dates. Do your best at the trails, we wish all young talented fast/spin bowlers good luck.

ReplyDeleteI believe you only have to take proof of age document in the form of original B-Form/ID card to register for trial of PCB young fast and spin bowler hunt program. If you meet age requirement which is 17 to under 21 years then you should be okay. Don't worry too much about paper work, it will be done at later stage, keep your fitness level high and have a good rest on 5th of November so you are fresh on 6th of November. Good luck with trials and let us know how you go.
