Shastri disappointed on Ganguly absence:
Former team director of India Ravi Shastri is really disappointed for not being selected as India head coach. His hard work speak for him, In his tenure, India climbed up to No. 1 ranking in Test and T20 and No. 2 ranking in ODI. India progress to semi final of ICC World Cup and ICC World Twenty20 world cup; which is a big achievement for a team that was hammered in England before his appointment. Ravi Shastri was interviewed by Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Sanjay Jagdale; while Sourav Ganguly wasn't present that day.
Ravi Shahstri not selected head coach
Indian team has a very busy cricket schedule this year. They will tour West Indies and then come back home for 13 Test matches against Australia, New Zealand, England and Bangladesh. BCCI is also planning to hold a mini IPL in September which would be a 2 weeks tournament. Anil Kumble would be happy to be in charge of team that is in winning rhythm. And a busy home season would be an advantage to further up India's points in ODI, Test and T20 ranking. This will be Anil Kumble first major role after retiring from Cricket.
