Wayne Parnell has praised Delhi Daredevils captain Kevin Pietersen for his calmness during IPL 7. KP brought his own energy to the team and his calmness rubs off on other players, with a calm captain there is calmness in the team as well and that's what you want during playing competitive sports. Parnell said, "Having confidence helps you and having the backing of the support staff and the captain is massive for any cricketer. Everyone wants to be backed by the leaders, and I feel I have that backing".

Daredevils has lost 3 games and won only 2 in UAE leg of IPL 7. Teams will head towards India soon and its better to have some momentum going on before moving there.
