Baroda Cricket Association has decided to remove Sanjay Patel from managing committee of BCA. Anshuman Gaekwad, secretary of BCA said that a notice to remove Patel and three other members has been served. Sanjay Patel is secretary of BCCI, he a long with three other members were illegally appointed as member of BCA managing committee. Three other members are Hemant Chokshi, Dr Anandrao Patel and advocate Kaushik Bhatt. The notice says, "You are removed from the managing committee because you were illegally co-opted in the managing committee, which had violated the constitution and rules of BCA." Managing committee has the power to remove illegally appointed members and they have finally used those powers.

Sanjay Patel said that it is an act of vengeance and he will sought legal opinion once notice is received. He added, "I have not received any notice from BCA and I have moved to the local court to obtain stay order. The court served notice to BCA office beaerers to reply before it takes up the matter for hearing".
