Gautham Gambhir said that IPL is not a platform for return to Indian team. He just want to play IPL and perform well for his team. Franchise biggest strength is their bowling unit, they have got good pace attack as well as quality spinners. KKR finished at 4th position in 2011 session of IPL and were champions in 2012, apart from that they always ended up somewhere at the bottom of table. They are no doubt one of the most profitable team but their performance isn't that good on the ground.
"My aim now is to do well for KKR and their fans. The fans have stuck with us in tough situations and, hopefully, we will do well. I don't play for comebacks and I always play to see my team win and that's what I'm looking for," Gambhir told Gulf News.

I don't think Gambhir has got any chance of return to Indian team. India has a lot of talent and they never had any problem with batsmen, all they need is some good pace bowlers.
