Chennai Super Kings has decided to retain Suresh Raina for seventh edition of IPL. Raina has been talking to Sourav Ganguly a lot and dada told him to stay positive. Raina has performed really well in ICC World Twenty 20 2014. Raina has played in UAE against Pakistan before and it will be a bonus for CSK. Suresh Raina said, "We are professionals and will not allow any pressure to affect our performance. The first five games can be extremely important in the IPL to build up a winning momentum and that's what we will focus on".
Even though CSK has been a lot of controversies lately, N Srinivasan has to stepped down from BCCI presidency and at one stage Dhoni said he is willing to quit CSK captaincy.
