Shoaib Malik is Pakistan leading run scorer in T20

Shoaib Malik became the leading run scorer in T20 for Pakistan:

Pakistan’s middle order batsman Shoaib Malik who is also a part time bowler turned out to be the Pakistan leading run scorer in T20 internationals. Earlier Umar Akmal was the top scorer in T20 for Pakistan.

Malik was ignored for a long time & he made a comeback in the team but could not perform but finally he once again excited the crowds in both T20 matches against World XI.

Malik’s 39 off 23 balls in the 2^nd T20 of the Independence helped Pakistan reach 174-6 in 20 overs. After that brilliant innings Malik became the top run scorer for Pakistan.

The senior player thanked his Allah after achieving this feat.

Shoaib Malik played 82 T20 innings & he scored 1702 runs & he is 12 runs ahead of Umar.

Malik is the only Pakistani player to score 7000+ runs in T20 career; he is at 7^th spot in the list of all time leading run scorers in T20s.

Malik scored 6765 runs in 238 ODI innings with his career best of 143 at an average of 35.23. He made 1898 runs in 60 Test innings at an average of 35.14.

All-rounder Malik took 153 wickets in 199 ODI innings. He also grabbed 32 wickets in 43 Test innings.
