Shoaib Akhtar's opinion on Umar Akmal & Mickey Arthur verbal fight:
Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has given his opinion on
the war of words b/w Umar Akmal & Mickey Arthur.
Shoaib Akhtar persuaded Umar Akmal to reply to his critics
through his performance on the field. He also advised PCB not to take a big
action against Umar Akmal & a dialogue would be the best solution than a
show cause notice.

Shoaib Akhtar tweeted, “I hope cooler heads prevail in
#UmarAkmal #MickyArthur & #PCB saga. We are one team people. Let’s stand united!”.
He further told that “@Umar96Akmal best response to critics
is on the filed @TheRealPCB a friendly dialogue is always better than a show
cause notice,” the former fast bowler added.
Umar Akmal earlier told that head Coach Mickey Arthur had
verbally abused him in front of Inzamam-ul-Haq. He further added that Mickey Arthur
was also abusive to other players too.
He went ahead & said that senior players did not stop
Arthur when he was being insulted & also told that Arthur suggested him to
play club level cricket rather than playing in academy.
Mickey Arthur rubbishes these allegations & said that he
told Umar Akmal to work on his skills & attitude.
PCB issued a show cause notice to Umar Akmal.
Mickey Arthur became the head Coach of Pakistan cricket team
after Waqar Younis resigned. He was in service when Pakistan cricket team was
ranked number 8 in ICC ODI team ranking. Recently Pakistan won ICC Champions
Trophy under his services & now Sri Lanka had agreed to play T20 series
against Pakistan & at least one of the T20 match will be played in Lahore.
This is the big step towards revival of cricket in Pakistan & it is
possible after Pakistan attracted the attention of cricket boards after winning
Champions Trophy.
