India win Test series against Sri Lanka 2-0:
After
a brilliant 304 runs victory over Sri Lanka in the opening Test, team India beat Sri Lanka by an innings & 53 runs in the second Test at Colombo to win the Test series. India will still
play their third Test match against Sri Lanka but they have already sealed the series
win against the hosts. Pujara & Rahane showed outstanding performance with
the bat & Jadeja & Ashwin did not let Sri Lanka batsmen to score big
runs.
Yet
another comprehensive series win for Kohli & his team. Virat Kohli praised
Pujara as the top batsman in team India as he is consistent with bat & he
never gives away his wicket easily. Pujara made 153 runs stand in the first
Test & yet he was brilliant in second Test by scoring 133 runs. Rahane
& Pujara helped their team put a big total in first innings. Having failed
to score in the opening Test, Rahane’s surprising 132 runs stand put the
opposition in huge trouble.

Ashwin
was best in both Tests against Sri Lanka. He took 7 wickets in the second Test,
a 5 wicket haul in the first innings was brilliant for his team. Sri Lanka made
no more than 183 runs in the first innings as they faced difficulty playing
spin bowling. Similarly Jadeja was tough to play in the second innings as he
dismissed the hosts for 386 runs. His 5 wicket haul in the second innings defeated
team Sri Lanka in the second match.
