India's Hardik Pandya Test century record

Hardik Pandya became 4^th fastest Indian batsman to score a ton in Test:

Hardik Pandya displayed a brilliant knock full of hard hitting as he secured his first Test hundred against Sri Lanka. He fired the score to 487 in the first innings after his responsible batting in the third Test match.

Hardik Pandya became 4th fastest Indian batsman to score century in Test

Hardik Pandya scored 108 in just 96 balls to raise his team to a big total in the first innings against Sri Lanka. Pandya has opened his arms in Test cricket after slamming hundred on Sunday.

Hardik scored hundred off just 86 balls & he became the 4^th quickest Indian batsman to score a century in Test. The other Indian batsmen who hit fastest century are Azharuddin (74 balls), Kapil Dev (74 balls), Sehwag (78 balls) & Dhawan (85 balls).

Pandya smashed 7 huge sixes in his innings. He is the second Indian batsman to hit 7 sixes in a Test innings. Only Sidhu who hit 8 sixes is ahead of Pandya.

Pandya scored 26 runs in a Test over & he owns the India record of scoring most runs in an over. Brian Lara (28), Trevor Bailey (28) & Shahid Afridi (27) are ahead of Pandya.
