Mohammad Amir's career best figures 10-72
The
25 years old Mohammad Amir showed his career best performance with a match
winning bowling figures of 10-72.
An
entirely one sided match came to an end when Yorkshire batsmen were sent to pavilion
after scoring 150 in their second innings.
Yorkshire
batting line-up was shaken after their top order was dismissed early. Yorkshire
collapsed to 25-5 in their first innings & 37-6 in the second.
Mohammad
Amir did not lose his pace when he returned to international cricket after 5
years. He can bowl at 140 kph & it is difficult to swing the ball at that
pace. He is exactly following the footprints of Wasim Akram who can in swing
& out swing the ball. Although the swing was not present when he played
against England in 2016 & he told that it will not be seen in Twenty20
cricket when he attempt to bowl with a different arm action.
At
Scarborough he could swing the bowl at high pace. He single handedly won the
Test match for Essex & his brilliant performance in ICC Champions Trophy
2017 has lifted him to play for Essex.
