Test captain Steven Smith said that India team was under pressure during first
Test at Pune. Virat Kohli replied to Smith allegations with a smile & he
said that the team was relaxed.
Steven spoke to media on the eve of the 2nd Test at Bengaluru that they are
just one victory away from winning the Test series & the opponents will
feel the pressure after losing the first Test.
Virat Kohli rubbishes Steven Smith allegations
Steven Smith told media that he thinks team India will feel a little bit of pressure. They
recently whitewashed England 4-0 in Test series so they are already 1 down
& they need to come back in the series. The Australian team is 1 victory
away from the Test trophy. Things are happening quite rapidly. Steven is sure
that team India is feeling a little bit of pressure.
When
captain Kohli was asked about Steven’s views, he laughed & said that these are
mind tactics. He further said that Kohli & his team are relaxed &
smiling & those are the views of Smith. Kohli added that it is time to work
on their talents more than what the opponents are saying. Kohli replied that
Australians are good at mind games.
Kohli
told the media that they are still going to play their natural cricket that they
have played for the last 2 years.
