Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by 6 wickets in PSL 2017:

Gladiators have risen to the play offs of the PSL 2017 with a splendid 6 wicket
victory over Karachi Kings last night.
Karachi
Kings batted first and put a target of 155 runs & Quetta Gladiators chased
the target after losing 6 wickets. From Gladiators side Shehzad & Shafiq
half centuries lifted the team to the top of the PSL 2017 ranking table &
they are also qualified to the playoffs.
Shehzad
played a dominant contribution after hiting 3 sixes & 4 boundaries while
scoring 50 off 40 balls & Asad Shafiq played a responsible inning and he
scored 51 off 38 & his inning include 1 six & 5 fours.
It
was Sarfaraz who hit a winning four to end the match with a much needed win &
he scored 19 off 17 balls. Hence he proved to be a key skipper of Pakistan T20
squad & also captain of Quetta Gladiators as he is producing runs with bat
and he seems to be a very responsible captain & we hope that he will prove to be
an honest & determined one day captain too.

Sohail
Khan took 2 wickets from Karachi Side. He has taken the highest wickets (11) by
any bowler in PSL 2017 so far.
Babar
Azam scored 36 from Karachi Kings & Sangakkara 28 put a decent total of 154
on board. Sangakkara gave a key start to Karachi Kings but he was soon dismissed
after powerplay as Quetta came back in the game.
Gayle
could not produce runs with high strike rate & he only managed to score 29
off 34 deliveries. Malik scored only 9 off 9 runs.
Polland
started hitting in the last over that led Karachi to an average total of 154.
Kieron scored 31 off 19 deliveries and his inning include 3 fours & 1
massive six.
Mahmudullah
managed to take 3 key wickets from Quetta side while Anwar took 2 major
breakthroughs.

There is a serious battle between Karachi Kings and Peshawar
Zalmi. Karachi will be out of the PSL 2nd season if they lose one
more match. Quetta Gladiators stay on top with 9 points while Lahore &
Islamabad take the 2nd and 3rd spot as they both have 6
points after winning 3 matches. Peshawar Zalmi is at no. 4 with 5 points &
Karachi takes the last spot in PSL 2017 tournament ranking.
