PCB chief Shahryar Khan wants elimination of Big Three governance system:
The
PCB chief Shahryar Khan told that he would go for the ending of the Big Three domination
system & income sharing method, besides contrasting the suggestion for 4
days Test matches at the International Cricket Board meeting that will be held
in Dubai.
Shahryar
said to the media that the PCB want the Big Three supremacy system & profits
allocation formula eliminated & the PCB see no legal problems for the
International Cricket Board to do this.
PCB chief said we have accepted the Big Three governance system in 2014 because India had signed a MoU with PCB that they would play 6 two-sided series b/w 2015 & 2023 but they haven’t played a single series so far. He said that was our cause & condition for supporting the Big Three but India had not completed its commitment, so we will not be following our earlier policy.
PCB chief Shahryar Khan told media that he wants elimination of Big Three governance system & he does not support 4 day Test match
BCCI
has earned the most from the Big Three governance system as it gets the most
part of the incomes that ICC receives from its events & broadcasting
rights.
PCB
chief told that we have completed our groundwork on the income allocation
system & needed same divide for all the associate countries.
Shahryar
told that under the same method Pakistan earn just 98 million dollars while
India gets round about 500 million & we do not observe any equality in this
system.
Shehryar
told that the ICC meetings will give them a platform to talk to new office holders
of the BCCI & see their response about the bilateral series with us.
He
told that Pakistan do not support 4 day Tests proposal as it is against the
spirit of Test matches & what will happen if it drizzle in a 4 day match.
He said that he does not see any good in changing the pattern of Test cricket.
