Islamabad United beat Peshawar Zalmi in a thrilling match at Sharjah:

match started between Peshawar Zalmi & Islamabad United at the Sharjah Cricket
Stadium on Saturday. It was the second match on Saturday; the first match was
won by Quetta Gladiators & they secured 5 wickets victory over Lahore
Qalandars here at Sharjah.

United won the toss and elected to field first & it was a good decision by
the captain as they restricted Peshawar Zalmi to only 136 in 20 overs.

United spin the table when Peshawar Zalmi were looking dominant. They took the
game from the hands of Zalmi with a winning four on the final ball to secure
their third victory in series so far.

United went ahead of the 137 run target on the last ball. Dwayne Smith secured
72 off 59 balls & his innings included 4 massive sixes & 6 fours.

Peshawar Zalmi batsmen did not produce enough runs against the strong bowling
line up. They kept on scoring runs slowly & losing wickets gradually.

of Peshawar Zalmi batsman reached 30 run mark & they put a low total of 136
on board. The most runs secured by Zalmi batsman included Morgan (28), Wahab
(23) & Sammy (20).
The
pacers from Islamabad side bowled on line. Sami took 3 wickets for giving away
only 26 runs while Raees & Shadab took 2 wickets each.

United are now at no. 2 after ditching Zalmi who are at third spot in PSL 2017
