Australia short of a plan to stop Virat Kohli:
Australia have to devise a strategy to stop Virat Kohli with
brilliant bowling & they are hoping for a bit of luck against the wall who
is the leading runs scorer in India vs England Test series told by Australian
coach Darren Lehmann.
Virat Kohli was man of the series against England & he
scored 655 runs off the England strong bowling attack at a massive average of
109.16 at the batting pitches of India & crushed the guests 4-0 recently.
The 28 year old Virat Kohli is a massive threat to
Australian bowlers & they are hoping to perform well against the Indian
team.
Virat Kohli has secured 6 out of his 15 tons in his 12
matches played against Australia with a huge average of 60.76 as compared to
his average of 50.10 against all sides.
Lehmann told that the Australian players had been busy in
watching Kohli’s batting but they seem struggling to find out a strategy of
bowling Kohli’s early in his batting. They will need more time to make a weapon
to destroy Kohli.
Darren said to reporters that the best tactic to dismiss
Kohli is to bowl well & have some luck along the way.
Lehmann added that the Australian team needs a plan that
works for us depending on the dismissals & what’s happening.
Lehmann also said that at the conclusion of the day you need
to have lots of good bowls & that’s going to be a tough dare for Australian
spinners & pace bowlers, restricting his shots & making sure Virat is
playing shots in the region we like him to play.
Team Australia led by Clarke was beaten 4-0 during their
final tour of India held in 2013 & recently India whitewashed England 4-0
& Alaistair Cook had stepped down as Captain of England for his team. It
seems that Indian side is getting stronger day by day & now the Australia
is under pressure & their coach Darren Lehmann thinks the team is short of
plan to bowl out skipper early in the inning as he is looking very dangerous.
Australia don't have a plan to stop Virat Kohli
Australian team was destroyed with bat, ball & in the
field during their last tour of India but after 4 years Darren is confident
that Steve Smith’s team have the strong bowlers who can take twenty wickets
against Virat’s boys.
Lehmann told that the team has outclassed spinners who can
take twenty wickets & the pacers can reverse the ball.
He added that the team is not under pressure of taking 20
wickets, they have got to put some runs on the board to put pressure on the
Indian side.
In my personal opinion Australia has to be extra cautious
against the inform batsman Virat Kohli & he might crush the Australian side
in the same way as he destroyed England in November &
December, 2016.
Australia has to work hard to develop good tactic other than the luck
introduced into the side. They need to pick up early wickets & bowl in
tight line against the mighty skipper.
