Pakistanis Won Warm Up Match:
Pakistani beat Australia XI in a warm up tour match in Cairns by 201 runs. Pakistan and Australia XI tour game was a 3 day match, both teams played two batting innings. Pakistani batting wobbled in the first innings and no solid partnership were build. CA XI performed well with the ball and every single bowler chipped in with wickets. Misbah ul Haq returned to the team, provided some stability to the batting line up in terms of statistics but captain didn't performed well in both innings. First innings 20 and second innings duck was Misbah's score in the match. Pakistani bowlers utilize the pitch condition and troubled Australian batsman on day 1. Australia were 4 down for only 3 runs by the end of first day with top 3 batsman scoring nil.
Pakistani bowlers went through rest of Australian batting in merely no time. CA XI were all out for 114 runs in 39.1 overs. Azhar Ali top scored of the match 82 was not out in the second innings. Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq and Sarfaraz Ahmed had a good start but couldn't convert it to a half century. Pakistan declared their second innings on 216/6 with a lead of 310 runs. Australia XI never looked comfortable in chasing a target of 300 plus against Pakistan seam attack. Mohammad Amir and Rahit Ali once again ripped through Australia top order, reducing host to 27 for loss of 4 wickets after 9 overs and 109 all out in 27.3 overs. Mohammad Amir and Rahit Ali took 5 wicket haul and Mohammad Nawaz took crucial 3 wickets in Australia XI second innings. Pakistan used 5 bowlers in CA XI second innings and each of them provided break through for the team. Seam bowlers and experienced batting helped Pakistanis beat Australia XI in warm up game.
Pakistan cricket team victory against Cricket Australia XI will boost morale of the team. A warm up game would give team an idea of the pitch and weather conditions in Australia. Winning a tour game would definitely add to confidence of team and a good experience for youngsters who have never played a game in Australia.

Pakistanis scored 208 runs in first innings with Younis Khan top scorer on 54 and Valente took 4 wickets. Australia XI scored 114 runs, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Rahat Ali took 3 wickets each. Pakistani scored 216 for loss of 6 wickets and declared second innings. Azhar Ali scored an unbeaten 82 runs and Mohammad Nawaz on 36 not out. Cricket Australia once again scored a laboured 109 runs in their second innings. Mohammad Nawaz took 3 wickets and Mohammad Amir and Rahat Ali both took 2 wickets each. Pakistanis beat Australia XI by 201 runs at Cairns in Australia.

Pakistan will begin their first test match of tour on 15th of December at Gabba. It will be Pakistan second international Day-Night test match and Australia third international Day-Night test match. Both teams have won their previous Day/Night test match.
