ICC announced ODI Team of Year 2016

ICC ODI Team of the Year 2016:

ICC has announced its best one day international team for the year 2016. Captain Virat Kohli will be leading ICC ODI team of the year 2016, it is the third time Kohli has been appointed captain of ODI team. David Warner would open the innings with de Kock who will also keep wickets. Rohit Sharma, Kohli, Buttler and de Villiers provides solid middle order batting line up. ODI team is also well equipped with allrounders in form of Mitchell Marsh, Jadeja and Starc. Mitchell Starc and Kagiso Rabada are the two specialist seamers in the team. Sunil Narine and Imran Tahir are the two specialist spin bowling options. Mitchell Starc and David Warner from Australia are the only two players who are also part of ICC Test team 2016.

It will be Kohli's third time to captain ICC ODI team of the year. Mitchell Star had the honored of getting selected third time while de Villiers has been selected for the sixth time. ODI team includes players from Australia, South Africa, India, England and West Indies.

ICC ODI Team of the year 2016 includes 4 players from South Africa, 3 players from Australia, 3 players from India, 1 player from England and 1 player from West Indies.
