Pakistan v West Indies Day-Night Test Updates:
Day 1 Updates - Pakistan 279/1 (90.0 ov):
Pakistan has entered this match as favorite after successive T20 and ODI series win against West Indies. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first, and recorded 279 runs for loss of only 1 wicket by end of day 1. This is the best start for Pakistan landmark 400th test match in day/night mode. Azhar Ali is not out on 146 runs and Asad Shafiq on 33 runs. Sami Aslam scored 90 runs before getting out to Chase. Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq record 4th best opening partnership for Pakistan - 215 runs. New Pink ball wasn't swinging much and there was no reverse swing when it got old. West Indies struggle to put Pakistan under pressure, let see what 2nd day will be like.

Day 2 Updates - PAK 579/3 declare - WI 69/1:
Pitch is dry and is almost same as yesterday, it will be batting paradise again on 2nd day of test. Azhar Ali scored triple century which is a monumental effort and no less than a dream performance. Azhar Ali is fourth Pakistani batsman to score triple century. Babar Azam recorded his maiden half century in his first test match. Pakistan declared first innings on 579/3, West Indies scored 69 runs for loss of only 1 wicket before end of play on day 2.
Day 3 Updates - WI 315/6:
Day 3 was dominated by West Indies batsman, they manage to survive a full day and still got 4 wickets in hand. Yasir Shah is 3 wickets short of becoming the fastest Asian to reach 100 test wickets and the 2nd fastest overall. Pitch is still a batting paradise and in my opinion it won't change much. This test match might be a draw unless Pakistan bowlers display some superb bowling same like in ODI.
Day 4 Updates - : Fourth day of Day/Night test match was dominated by West Indies. Pakistan tried to score quick runs but lost too many quick wickets. 123 all out in second innings is not quite good enough to win the game. Bishoo took his career best 8-49 and batsman scored 95/2 by the end of day 4. West Indies need 251 runs to win the match and Pakistan needs 8 more wickets to win the first Day-Night test match.
Day 5 Updates - Pakistan 579/3 dec & 123 beat West Indies 357 & 289 by 56 runs: Pakistan won their first day-night test match by 56 runs and it was their 400th Test match as well. Pakistan was in control of match for first 2 days and then West Indies had upper hand on 3rd and 4th day. Especially resistance by Bravo who made 116 runs of 249 balls in 2nd innings. Records made and broken in this test match. Azhar Ali is player of match for his unbeaten triple century (Pakistan 4th batsman to score triple century in Test match) - Yasir Shah become fast Asian to get 100 test wickets and 2nd joint fastest over all. Congratulations Pakistan for winning 400th test match and the first Day and Night test match. Well done West Indies, for giving Pakistan such a hard time.
