Afghanistan v Bangladesh 2nd ODI Result: Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in second one day international of ODI series 2016. It was another hard fought match between two countries. Bangladesh started very well with Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah added 61 for the third wicket, but the turning point in the match was when Bangladesh lost their last seven wickets for 86 runs. Bangladesh score: 208 all out and Afghanistan score 212 for 8 in 49.4 overs. Mohammad Nabi for his 2-16 and 49 runs of 61 balls earned him Player of the match award.
Bangladesh vs Afghanistan 3rd ODI Result: Tamim Iqbal and Mosharraf demolished Afghanistan in final ODI match. Bangladesh won bilateral ODI series 2-1, It was a fight between experience v inexperience side. Bangladesh after batting first posted 279 for 8 (Tamim Iqbal socred 118 runs and Sabbir 65, Nabi was top wicket taker for Afg with 2-14). Afghanistan scored only 138 runs with Rahmat top scorer 36 runs, Mosharraf is Bangladeshi top wicket taker in match with 3-24. Bangladesh won series decider by 141 runs, Tamim Iqbal is player of the match and player of the series.

It was a tense win, Shakib Al Hasan and Taskin Ahmed helped BD win first game by 7 runs. Bangladesh batted first and scored 265 runs. In reply, Afghanistan were cruising at 190/2 and it seemed like they will beat Bangladesh. But cricket game is very hard to predict, Bangladesh sealed a tense victory over well fought Afghanistan side. It was a game full of suspense and entertainment. Bangladesh 265 runs (Tamim Iqbal 80 runs and Mahmudullah 62 runs, Dawlat 4-73 and Rashid 2-37) beat Afghanistan 258 runs (Hashmatullah 72 runs and Shahidi 71 runs, Shakib 2-26 and Mashrafe 2-42). Afghanistan started tour warm up game win a consolidation win over Bangladesh Cricket Board XI. Afghanistan batted first and scored 233 runs while BCB XI only managed to score 167 runs. Afghanistan win a low scoring game by 66 runs.
