Pakistan Yasir Shah on track to break Record

Yasir Shah on peak of his Career:

Yasir Shah is close to break a world record after taking 10 wickets in first Investec Test at Lords against England. Yasir Shah was named Man of the Match and he is currently No. 1 Test bowler in ICC Test bowling ranking. Yasir was in superb form on subcontinent pitches but his bowling ability in English conditions were in doubt before start of tour. Yasir has taken 86 wickets from 13 Test matches and currently short of 17 more wickets in 2 matches to beat record of George Lohmann. Shah is on tract to beat this 120 years old record and become the fastest bowler to take 100 wickets in Test matches. No other bowler has taken more wickets than Yasir in 13 matches.

George Lohmann took 100 wickets from 16 matches in 1896 followed by Turner who took 100 Test wickets from 17 matches. Yasir Shah is 30 years old and he average 23 in Test bowling with improving bowling performance. Yasir Shah is first leg spinner to be ranked No.1 in ICC Test ranking after Shane Warne in 2005. Mushtaq Ahmed, former Pakistani leg spinner achieve this milestone in 1996 which is almost 20 years ago. Pakistan has found a replacement for Saeed Ajmal who won heaps of matches for Pakistan in the past. 

Yasir Shah has was named Man of the Match in first Investec Test against England. This is the first time he has ever been named player of the match. Yasir has touched peak of his career performance and is unstoppable. Yasir is on track to become fast ever Test bowler to take 100 test wicket. Good Luck Yasir Shah....

  1. Ben Stoke, England all rounder called Yasir Shah the best leg spinner since Shane Warne. Yasir Shah took 10 wickets in first test match. Ben Stoke has been batting and bowling in nets for past couple of weeks and would be fit to play in the 2nd Investec Test match against Pakistan.
