USA to host 6 Hero CPL T20 2016 matches:
United States of America will host 6 matches of Caribbean Premier League T20 series 2016. ICC approved fixtures of 6 CPL 2016 matches in USA in start of year. It is an attempt to bring high quality cricket in United States and opportunity for cricket board to exploit potential revenue. So, far cricket in USA is a big success and bringing this high voltage T20 cricket will boost interest of audience in cricket. CPL is hoping to make such arrangements every year, depending on success of this event this year. USACA filed a law suite earlier this year to stop hosting CPL T20 matches in Florida.
CPL Twenty20 will allow cricket fans in USA to watch some of the greatest players all around the world playing T20 format of cricket in Florida, USA. Staging of high level international cricket competition is key part of strategy of promoting game of cricket in USA. Experienced players, coaches and trainers will contribute to the growth of cricket sports in America.

Guyana Amazon Warriors qualified for Hero CPL T20 knockout stage after a stunning win over Barbados Tridents in Lauderhill, Florida. Amazon warriors 168-7 beat Barbados Tridents 142-7 by 6 wickets and 10 ball to spare. This was the first historic CPL T20 match played in Lauderhill, Florida, USA.
