PCB chief Najam Sethi said that Misbah-ul-Haq will lead Pakistan cricket team in 2015 World Cup. Moin Khan who is chief selector of Pakistan didn't agree on this matter & Khan wants change in captaincy. Moin also added that there were several discussions about captaincy change at PCB office, so final decision is still not yet taken. According to Moin statements, mostly people inside PCB wants Shahid Afridi to lead Pakistan cricket team from now onwards. Najam Sethi defended Misbah-ul-Haq and said his final words that there will be no change in captaincy as I said before Misbah will lead Pakistan cricket team in World Cup 2015. After all controversies at PCB, Sethi further added that it is the authority of chairman to select captain & selectors job is restricted only for selecting national teams. Sethi said that everyone is allowed to share their own views inside Board and national selectors are also welcomed to share their opinions. Misbah-ul-Haq didn't look happy after so much controversies but remain silent with everything going on. The national selectors announced 36 players eligible for Summer Camp starting from 6th of May.

Najam Sethi said, "There is no change in plans and like I announced earlier Misbah will remain captain for the World Cup".
Sethi strongly condemned, "I have made no change to my decision and Misbah will remain the captain. Appointing the captain is the sole authority of the chairman and the national selectors job is restricted to selecting national teams".
Someone close to captain said, "Obviously, he (Misbah) is not happy over this unnecessary controversy but since the chairman has said nothing he has preferred to keep his views to himself".
