Hyderabad Sunrisers made 155 runs in their respective 20 overs with David Warner top scorer (61 runs of 49 balls). Bangalore started chasing 156 runs and lost 4 early wickets for just 59 runs in 11 overs. Ab de Villiers came in at No. 5 and started blowing Hyderabad's bowlers. Bangalore needed 28 runs in last 12 balls when Dale Steyn came to bowl 19th over. Ab de Villiers scored 24 runs against Dale Steyn requiring only 4 runs in final over which was bowled by Irfan Pathan.
