PCB chairman Najam Sethi has backed Misbah Ul Haq as captain till ICC World Cup 2015 following Moin Khan's statement of possible change in captaincy. According to rules, chairman will select selectors and captain of the team and then its selectors job to select rest of the team. Moin Khan said in a statement a couple of days ago that discussions have been done about new leadership but nothing is final yet. However, Najam Sethi has said many times on different occasions that there is no need to remove Misbah as captain of team, he has done really good job so far and will stay as captain till next year world cup.

"Afridi and Younis discussed team matters with the chairman but the most important issue was a pay hike for players," a source said.
