PCB has offered Mushtaq Ahmed Rs. 300,000 as bowling coach of national cricket academy which was turned down by Mushi because he needed more. PCB has been paying more salary plus bonus and incentives to foreign coaches while they treat local coaches cheaply. Many of ex players have turned down coaching offers, recently Inzimam Ul Haq turned down batting coach offer under Zaka Ashraf chairmanship.
PCB source told PTI, "Mushtaq has been offered the position of bowling coach at the national
cricket academy but he is not satisfied with the monthly salary being
offered to him which is around 300,000 rupees". Source also said, "Mushtaq who is a qualified coach from the England and Wales cricket
board (ECB) and has worked with the English team as spin consultant and
coach has asked the board for a better salary package which is around
500,000 rupees".

Mushtaq Ahmed is currently coaching England Spinners but haven't produced any variety in their spin bowling yet. PCB should appoint Saqlain Mushtaq currently coaching West Indies Spinners, as we have seen lots of bowling improvement in West Indians spin bowling. Top spinner in T20 is Sunil Narine and 2nd one is also West Indian.
