Two days of ICC Board meeting has ended in Dubai and decision was made to carry on short format of 20 overs cricket. Next ICC World Twenty20 will be held in India in 2016. For next tournament top 8 teams as on April 30 will automatically qualify for second round. While 9th and 10th ranked full members will qualify for 1st round. Six teams will qualify from ICC World Twenty20 qualifier in 2015.
India will host ICC World Twenty20 in 2016
It doesn't seem any fair game in World Cup 2016 as India will be hosting. Indian Cricket board BCCI, their players including captain MS Dhoni have recently been caught in ipl fixing and it seems they fix other matches too. Now Indians are included in BIG 3 so they have more power rather than fixing IPL they might fix local matches played at indian home.
