Afghanistan team will feature in ICC World Cup 2015 and there training will start soon in Pakistan. Two former captain of Pakistan team Amir Sohail and Rashid Latif will provide training. Amir will train Afghan batsmen while Rashid will train their wicket keepers. "We have a full year of events starting with the Asian Cricket Council Trophy next month and the excitement will reach the highest point with the World Cup, and we have planned a two-week camp in Karachi from April 15," Afghan coach Kabir Khan told AFP.
"It will definitely be fun to coach the exciting players from Afghanistan and I will try to make them competitive enough to play against world´s best teams next year," Sohail told AFP.
"I enjoyed their coaching before and look forward to help(ing) them in the coming weeks," said Latif
Afghanistan cricket team to train in Pakistan
Afghanistan has qualified for World cup 2015 and will be featuring in Group A. Afghanistan cricket team have previously qualified for ICC World Twenty20 in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
Rashid Latif just recently rejected PCB offer but did not say the reason of rejection. Aamir Sohail have also been requested for coach by PCB but i think they both are not loyal to Pakistan Cricket team. Pakistan Ex Players like Mushtaq Ahmed coaching England, Saqlain Mushtaq coaching West Indies, Rashid Latif and Aamir Sohail will start coaching Afghanistan while Wasim Akram coach IPL. They are not offered more money like foreign coaches so they leave Pakistan.
