Angry fans threw stones at Yuvraj Singh house after defeat to Sri Lanka in ICC World Twenty20 final match. India couldn't score much in the death over and it was especially because of Yuvi, who couldn't hit boundaries at all and failed to rotate strike as well. He scored 11 runs of 21 balls and got out in last over. Yuvraj Singh's house was pelted in the Manimajra locality of Chandigarh on Sunday evening after Indian team suffered a massive defeat. Angry fans started throwing stones and situation got out of control. Police immediately rushed to his house and pacify angry fans gathered outside Yuvi's house.

Its really sad that angry crowd of fans took out their frustration by throwing stones at Yuvi's house. Its only a game and you don't always win. Apart from India, some players from Bangladesh and Pakistan also went through same sort of incidence.

Indians used to make Yuvraj's statue when he was in good form. He has produced legendary innings for India and even strong bowling attack of Pakistan felt very difficult to get him out. He left cricket due to surgery and couldn't get back the form he had once when Indians called him a Legend and made a statue in Indian City. Now they threw stones on one who they used to praise ? This is not acceptable
ReplyDeleteHe is going through rough time at the moment, he shouldn't be sidelined. I think he should be given some more practice, Indian selector should give him a chance in 1 more series and see how he goes. He might turn out to be a lethal weapon in ICC World cup 2015
