Pakistan Cricket Board has issued show cause notice to Shahid Afridi after speaking to media from airport, about team performance with out any prior permission from PCB. Afridi told media that Pakistan team had not shown an aggressive mindset in the match against West Indies. Even coach Moin Khan and Zaheer Abbas had not said anything about team performance but only mentioned that some players have to go in new set up of the team.
Shahid Afridi in reply said, he has never run after captaincy and it was just a reply to question asked by media person. He also said that the reason he wanted to take captaincy was for the sake of national team. According to rules, only team captain and team officials are supposed to speak to media, so Afridi should have kept quiet.

Shahid Afridi made it clear that he had spoken to media in the past after returning from big tournaments and he didn't want to humiliate or disrespect anyone, he just replied to what he was asked.
