Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 59 runs and progressed to semi finals of ICC World Twenty20. Target set for New Zealand was less than run a ball but they just achieved half of it in 15.3 overs. Rangana Herath did match winning bowling by taking 5 wickets in 3.3 overs and only gave away 3 runs with economy rate of 0.85 and is man of the match. Corey Anderson got hurt during match and wasn't available to bat at all. It is unfortunate for New Zealand that they couldn't achieve such a small total. Luckily there wasn't much dew at the ground otherwise 120 would be hard task for Sri Lanka to defend.
