Sri Lanka batted first and score 119 runs in 19.2 overs and lost all of 10 wickets. Trent Boult did early damage with bowl and since then Sri Lanka couldn't recovered. Sri Lanka stayed under pressure with regular wickets and some good fielding performance. New Zealand captain proved to be a better captain by bowling right bowlers at right time.
