West Indies want to beat New Zealand in first away game since 1995:
West
Indies cricket team are not dwelling on their Test win in England but West Indies skipper will use it for
motivation if required. West Indies will play first Test match against New Zealand on 1 December.
Captain
Jason Holder said his team is ready for the first Test match & they want to
achieve their first away victory over New Zealand since 1995.
New
Zealand have not played Test cricket since their series against Proteas in
March. West Indies are hoping to perform better against New Zealand after they
beat Zimbabwe 1-0 following a thumping win over England at Headingley.

"We're
in a pretty good place at this point in time. We've built up quite nicely this
past year. We're still not the finished product, but we're heading in the right
direction," Holder said Thursday.
West
Indies achieved their five wicket victory over England who secure third position
in ICC Test team rankings. Shai Hope was the first player to score hundred in both
innings of a Test match, boosting the hope of 8th ranked team.
"It's
done a lot. It was significant," Holder added.
"But
for me, that's gone. That's buried in the past for me. We can obviously call on
it at times when we're down if need be but I just tell the guys that's gone and
we need to create our future and pretty much live in the present."
West
Indies was defeated by an innings & 73 runs during their last visit of New
Zealand four years ago.
