PSL 2018 - 20 players squad finalized

PSL 2018 - 20 players squad were finalized on Sunday:

All six franchises of PSL completed 20 players after picking players from the draft on Sunday. Lahore took 19 players as they exhausted the limit of pay scale.

All Pakistan Super League teams entered the drafts for third edition with squad of 9 retained players & took 7 more. One each in Platinum, Diamond & Gold, two each from Silver & two emerging players to complete the 16 men squad.

PSL 2018 Squads

Platinum picks:

Lahore Qalandars took Chris Lynn in the platinum category.

Islamabad United chose JP Duminy while Karachi Kings picked Colin Ingram.

Quetta Gladiators took Shane Watson & Peshawar Zalmi picked Dwayne Bravo.

Multan Sultans picked Imran Tahir in the platinum category.

Diamond category:

Islamabad United took Luke Ronchi & Lahore Qalandars picked Mustafizur Rehman.

Tamim Iqbal picked by Peshawar Zalmi while Mitchell Johnson joined Karachi Kings.

Quetta Gladiators took Carlos Brathwaite while Multan Sultans picked Darren Bravo.

Gold picks:

Karachi Kings took Luke Wright while Islamabad United picked Fahim Ashraf in Gold category.

Peshawar Zalmi picked Hammad Azam in the Gold category.

Rahat Ali was Quetta's Gold picks.

Multan Sultans picked Ahmed Shehzad.

Silver picks:

Lahore picked Raza Hassan & Sohail Akhtar in silver category.

Sam Billings and Zafar Gohar were taken by Islamabad United in Silver category.

David Wiese and Tabish Khan were picked by Karachi in silver category.

Saad Ali & Ramiz Raja Jr were taken by Quetta in Silver category.

Peshawar's silver category picks include Saad Naseem & Taimoor Sultan

Multan's silver category picks include Mohammad Abbas & Nicolas Pooran.

Supplementary picks:

In Supplementary category, Lahore Qalandars picked Angelo Mathews, Mitchell McClenaghan & Gulraiz Sadaf.

Islamabad picked four supplementary players Alex Hales, David Willey, Mohammad Hassan & Mohammad Husnain.

Colin Munro, Eoin Morgan & Saifullah Bangash were Karachi’s Supplementary picks.

Quetta Gladiators' Supplementary picks included Jason Roy, Rashid Khan, Azam Khan & Faraz Ahmed.

Andre Fletcher, Evin Lewis, Khalif Usman & Mohammad Arif were picked by Peshawar in supplementary category.

Multan Sultans picked Hardus Viljoen, Umar Gul, Umar Siddiq & Ross Whiteley in supplementary category.

Emerging players picks:

Lahore took Shaheen Afridi & Ghulam Mudassar in the emerging players' category.

Islamabad picked Sahibzada Farhan & Hussain Talat in category of emerging players.

Karachi Kings took Mohammad Irfan Jr & Hassan Mohsin in emerging players' category.

Sarfraz team opted for Saud Shakil & Hasaan Khan.

Sameen Gul & Ibtisam Sheikh were taken by Zalmi in emerging players' category.

PCB chief Najam Sethi congratulated Multan Sultans for being the 6^th PSL team.

"This is the league that will bring cricket back home," said PCB chief.

Najam Sethi said that they are trying their best to host some PSL 2018 matches in Karachi & Lahore.
