India v Sri Lanka Test series 2017 Fixture:

Sri Lanka will tour India in November & will play three Test matches against India followed by three ODI & three T20 matches. India v Sri Lanka cricket series will begin in the mid of November & will continue up to the end of December.

Virat Kohli has played enough cricket & selectors want to rest him for the 2^nd half of the series against Sri Lanka in December. He is included in Test squad & will play first two Test matches, & he may not appear in the third one & / or the six limited overs matches that will begin after.

Batsmen Kusal Mendis, Kaushal Silva & seamer Nuwan Pradeep have been ruled out of the Test squad. Dhananjaya & Shanaka have been included in the 15 men squad. Angelo Mathews is fit for the Test series & included in the squad.

Asela Gunaratne & Kusal Perera will be featured in the squad.

India opener M Vijay did not play any Test match on Sri Lanka tour due to wrist injury. Vijay is fit & he is in for the first two Test matches against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka tour of India Test Series 2017 Schedule:

Sri Lanka will start tour with a Test match that will be played in Kolkata on 16 November. The second & third Test matches will be played in Nagpur & Delhi on 24 November & 02 December 2017.

The tour will be six weeks long. Sri Lanka will play a warm up match too.
