Two more Pakistani players Umar Akmal & Muhammad Sami are named in PSL spot fixing scandal:
Pakistani
stars, Umar Akmal & Muhammad Sami names were reported in the media in the
spot fixing hearings of the PSL.
Pakistan
Cricket Board chief, Shaharyar Khan mentioned the names of Akmal & Sami
during conversation with Pakistani newspaper.
PCB
legal advisor, Salman Naseer said that he would suggest the media & rest of
the people to refrain from calling names of any Pakistani player in spot fixing
without official verification as it creates troubles & he doesn’t remember
that anyone in the tribunal had spoken the names of Umar & Sami anywhere.
When
he was inquired to comment on that is it true that NCA official had called the
names of these two Pakistani players, Salman said nothing.
This
happening has already caused troubles for Umar Akmal & Muhammad Sami.

Pakistan
pace bowler, Sami is in demand in most abroad T20 leagues & they are
inquiring about whether his name is cleared so that he can play Caribbean
Premier League.
Also
Umar Akmal is going through same troubles. He is in London undergoing treatment
for a knee injury.
If
these two players are cleared by the PCB then only they can play CPL.
Sami
is in deep problem because he participates in BPL every year & they have
also raised the same questions.
Pakistan
Cricket Board has not mentioned the names of Umar & Sami officially but
they are trying to persuade the PCB to give them clean chit publicly.
