PCB to sue Indian Cricket Board for violating MoU:
PCB chief has finally made a decision to sue BCCI in the ICC
dispute resolution committee for not fulfilling its promise of playing
bilateral series against Pakistan, PCB chairman Shahryar told.
PCB chairman headed over a Board of Governors meeting on Friday,
it is the final meeting under his chairmanship which talked about topics like
domestic & first class cricket, PSL 2018 edition & Pakistan women cricket
squad performance in Women World Cup 2017.
The Board of Governors made a decision to sue India Rs 1
billion to start a legal fight against the BCCI.
PCB chairman to sue BCCI for not fulfilling its promise
Both Pakistan & India boards signed a MoU under which
the two teams will play six bilateral series b/w 2015-2023. India did not
fulfill its promise & they did not play a single bilateral series against
Pakistan. It was also decided that four of the bilateral series will be played
in Pakistan.

PCB talked about the continuation of cricket ties with India
& play bilateral series against Pakistan on several occasions but BCCI said
that they would first take clearance from Indian govt.
In May 2017, the PCB
sent a legal notice to BCCI to respect the MoU & told them that they would
file a permissible action against the BCCI for not satisfying the agreement.
Shahryar Khan chaired final Board of Governors meeting &
showed his happiness of being PCB chairman & thankful to all those who are
supporting him during the time period & he was hopeful that the next PCB
chairman will continue in a better way & will carry on efforts of revitalizing
international cricket in Pakistan.
PCB must sue BCCI for not playing Bilateral series against Pakistan. India has to play 7 bilateral series & 4 of bilateral series should be played in pakistan as signed in MoU
